Perfect Heart Performes At Dollywood
One of America's favorite family destinations, Dollywood, hosted Perfect Heart October 10th and 11th, 2010. October was Southern Gospel month at the amusement park and had performances by several top Gospel groups.
NQC 2010 Recap
Perfect Heart just recently returned from a week at the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, Kentucky. While there, the group performed on Monday as well as Thursday and received a great reception from the crowd. On Wednesday, Perfect Heart was honored to be interviewed by Paul Heil for the radio program "The Gospel Greats". The guys stayed busy all week seeing old friends and fans. On Friday, the guys went golfing with orginal Perfect Heart tenor Danny Funderburk. "We had a great time. It was great to get away from the busy schedule that week and have some fun and fellowhsip." said Jimmy Dunn.
"It was a great week. It is always a thrill to see our friends in other groups that we may only see in passing going down the highway. It was such a blessing to meet so many Perfect Heart fans that have supported the group for many years." stated Mike Presnell
Perfect Heart To Peform at NQC
Perfect Heart is excited to be included on the line up to perform at America's largest Christian music event, the National Quartet Convention. Annualy, thousands of Southern Gospel fans trravel to Louisville, Kentucky to see their favorite Gospel groups perform. Appearing at NQC this year will be the Gaither Vocal Band, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, Jason Crabb, the Perry's, Legacy Five, Perfect Heart, Gold City and many others. A special appearance by Gov. Sarah Palin is sure to be a highlight of the week. Also scheduled is a special 100th Anniversary event on Saturday featuring classic reunions including the Cathedrals, the Hinsons, the Rambos, the Singing Americans, Gold City and others.
"Glory Waves" Debuts In Top 80 Charts
Perfect Heart broke onto the top 80 radio charts with their last release "Glory Waves". The hit songs debuted on the charts at #72. "We are excited to see how God is using this song. It is a song of hope as we long for a day when we will enter Heaven and God's glory will wave for all of eternity." said owner and baritone Tommy Smith.
